You like sports? St. Märgen waits for you with sports facilities of all kinds. We are the ideal starting point for hiking or biking tours through the Black Forest.
We also have well signposted nordic-walking tracks. Even if you love horses, we´re the right vacation site for you.
Enjoy your leisure time on a hot summer day in our natural bathing lake an. And in winter we offer you optimal winter sports facilities.

There are, of course, lots of other possibilities to do sports in St. Märgen.

Beach Volleyball

Next to our bathing lake we have a new beach volleyball pitch that you´ll surely enjoy if you like this trendy sport. Have a cool refreshment afterwards in our natural bathing lake.

Adventure Playground

In the centre of our park, near woodlands and glades, you´ll find a playground best equipped for your kids.

Festival Ground

The festival groung is suited for all great festivals we have in St. Märgen, the most important being the so-called ”Rossfest” — ”The Day of the Black Forest Horse”. Held every three years, it attracts up to 30.000 visitors.

Football Pitches

On the two football lawns of our St. Märgen Sports Club you can watch exciting seasonal matches of the youth´s, men´s and women´s teams every weekend. The training ground in the North is open to all hobby football players, too.

Tennis Courts

We invite our guests and St. Märgen inhabitants to have a match on one of our three well cared-for artificial grass courts, 900 m above sea-level. Visit our cosy and restful clubhouse afterwards.
